How we work

Agree on the work before the build.

  1. Discuss the business

Identify your audience, services, existing site, and what visitors should be able to do.

  2. Agree on scope

Define pages, content responsibilities, features, editing, hosting, review rounds, and handoff in the proposal.

  3. Review the design

Review page structure and visual direction before the site is built, with agreed points for feedback.

  4. Build and test

Build the approved site and check its layouts, links, forms, and keyboard navigation across desktop and mobile views.

  5. Launch and hand off

Complete the agreed launch checks and explain access, editing, account responsibilities, and next steps.

Project pricing

Confirm the scope before work begins.

The $1,300 package covers the one-page scope above. Your quote confirms the sections, content responsibilities, editing arrangement, hosting, and launch plan for your website.

More involved projects are quoted separately. Content preparation, page count, features, integrations, editing tools, and support needs determine that scope and price.

Common questions

Decisions that shape the project.

Who provides the wording and images?

You provide your branding, text, and photos for the small business website package. Logo work and substantial copywriting are quoted separately. Approved content is needed at the agreed review points, so content preparation is part of the project schedule.

Can I edit the website myself?

The editing arrangement is agreed before the build. That includes which content you can update, any tools or accounts you will need, and how other changes are handled. A content-management system is included only when it is part of the agreed scope.

Who handles the domain and hosting?

The package includes the first year of one available, standard-priced .com domain (premium domains excluded) and basic hosting on Cloudflare Workers Free, including setup and launch. Accounts stay in your name. You pay domain renewals after year one; hosting remains free within plan limits. Paid hosting or email upgrades are quoted separately.

How long does a website project take?

Timing depends on the number of pages, features, integrations, content readiness, and review schedule. We agree on a project schedule after the scope and responsibilities are clear. Delayed content or approvals can move the launch date.

What happens at handoff and after launch?

The quote defines ownership of the delivered work, account access, and the editing arrangement. The small business website package includes 30 days after launch to correct errors in the delivered website. Future changes beyond those corrections are covered by the optional care scope or quoted separately.

What does optional website care include?

For $50 per month, optional care includes a monthly website and form check, plus up to 30 minutes per month of minor text or photo updates. Larger changes, new features, and other support needs are quoted separately.

Can the site include ecommerce, booking, or customer accounts?

Those features, along with custom portals and business-system integrations, need separate scoping. We review the required functionality, services involved, and ongoing responsibilities before deciding what belongs in the project.
